Baseball!

Kick in the Fit campers! You all crushed 7 innings of exercise madness this morning on our Field of Dreams with our Baseball workout with a twist!

Team NO BOYS ALLOWED prevailed with 131points to edge out  TEAM PINA COLADA PINATA who scored very close with 123!

You all were flying around the bases!

Special shout outs to  Coaches Vesper, Lunney, Tillman, Leonard, Pierce, and Eyer!

Drink plenty of water, rest up, and we’ll see you dark and early in the morning.

The Sandwich!

The Sandwich makes it debut at Kick In The Fit courtesy of Chet this morning!  A sandwich sounds harmless unless it is built like this:

Great Job On Our Leg Workout This Morning!

Well…once again the rain forced us into our home away from home:  The Parking Deck! 

We had a fantastic group this morning and really utilized the deck to work out every part of our legs!  Just the 150 squats at station one was a challenge but when you add in the side kicks, squat jacks, bulgarian split squats, super stars and more….well, you’ve got a  SUPER WORKOUT! 

Suzanne’s sprints for our finishing routine really brought it all together with some spirited races!

Don’t forget to drink lots of water today and stretch whenever you have a moment as you’ll probably be feeling this one for a couple of days.

The Results from today’s Match It workout

Great job to everyone who came out (in the rain) to workout this morning. You guys really pushed yourselves this morning and I hope you had fun with the friendly competition!
This month we did this workout in the parking deck because of rain and potential lightening…so we mixed it up a bit!
Here are this month’s record holders:

Round 1:
Burpees: Laura 25
Pushups: Tezin 35
Sit ups: Susan 65
Leap frogs: Laura 50

Round 2:
Mary Katherine’s: Tezin 30
Bicycles: Tezin 55
Squats: Katherine 115
Head dips: Kiegan 32

Way to go Tezin with holding the most reps (with out resting) in THREEE categories. Awesome!
Everyone did a great job and it was close in several categories.

Run Clinic with Mike Babcock

After shouting “Marathon” as today’s word of the day, Kick in the Fit boot campers and instructors were off to a great start for today’s run clinic with Mike Babcock.

During the run clinic, Mike went over important topics such as form and breathing and answered our many questions. It sure was nice running barefoot on the field this morning in the cool crisp soon-to-be-Autumn air!

Plans are in the works to schedule a trail run for those interested in preparing for Serenbe on November 12th.  Details to follow.

The Delta Group sure didn’t seem to need much help this morning.  Great job to Madison, Lisa, Laura, Brenda, JoAnn and Michelle!

You all completed a 3.0 mile run without any front to backs and managed to get some squats, lunge walks and sit ups in too!

Special Shout out to Laura, who is rocking it this month and has a  BRAND NEW 9 week old son.  Sleep deprived perhaps, but it’s hard to tell as Laura is hard charging it with us this month and is doing great!
